Towards the end of 2022, our relationship with my boyfriend was going through a rough patch and we both needed some time to think. I went for a walk along Deeside Railway Line in Aberdeen, trying to clear my head while taking photos. It was a confusing time. One moment I felt certain that this will all pass, that we will grow from this and find joy again. But then a moment later doubt crept in, and fear and pain took over. I found my feelings being reflected at me wherever I looked. The following photo essay is the result of that confusing time in my life.
